Measure Once, Mount Cleanly

Measure the opening between posts. Most huts look cleanest when panels overlap the post faces by 1–2″ per side for drip control.
Mount hardware to wood members (headers, beams, ledger strips)—never through thatch. Pilot drill, keep fasteners in a straight line, and leave
the panel bottom about 1″ above the deck to avoid wicking.

  • Width: inside-to-inside post spacing + 2–4″ total overlap.

Look for reinforced edges (webbing), grommets that bite fabric—not just vinyl—and a bottom pocket for a ballast bar to hang straight.
Add side snaps or zippers where wind sneaks around the edges.
